Instead off eggnog try a White Christmas Margarita at the next Christmas or New Year party!
Creamy White Christmas margaritas are a festive dairy free coconut milk-based cocktail to sip on while listening to Dreaming of a White Christmas or for Holiday party and New Years Party cocktails.
After reading some not great reviews on another site’s recipe of the very popular White Christmas margarita recipe where the tequila and coconut didn’t quite match, I made a personal Better White Christmas margarita so this Christmas margarita recipe is done right. its more of a Rum-arita because the rum works better with coconut, and its sweetened with condensed coconut milk for delicious sweetness and creaminess. So its a White Christmas martini and margarita fusion
How to make White Christmas Margarita? Its super easy, all you need is a blender
1 can of full fat coconut milk, remove the very top oil part to avoid lumpiness
approx 1/2 cup/125 ml condensed coconut milk (or more to taste if you like it very sweet), drain the top oil part to avoid lumpiness
juice of half a lime
4.5 tbsp rum (1.5 shots. if you are a tequila margarita die-hard, you can use reposado or silver tequila and extra lime, but i think rum is a better fit for coconut, more alcohol can be used but i didnt want to drink too much)
1.5-2 tbsp grand marnier
to frost the rim: scatter granulated sugar on a plate. pour water into shallow bowl and dip the rim in it then in the sugar.
place all ingredients, except ice in blender (bleding ice with full fat coconut milk creates an emulsion that looks co-aggulated, I do not recommend it). do a taste test for sweetness and consistency adding more condensed coconut milk if you like it to be a dessert cocktail. place ice cubes in glass and pour the margarita over it.
sip it while listening to Dreaming of a White Christmas, thats gota be the easiest cocktail to song pairing!
