Mango ginger lassi protein shake

of course nothing beats a classic mango lassi, but sometimes you wana get some protein in too. most people don’t love the taste and texture of protein powder shakes, but by adding some lassi ingredients, the tartness of the coconut yogurt and the almost minty taste of cardamom, help cut through the sweetness and thickness of the protein powder and a zing of warming ginger for the winter and a little vitamin c from the lime zest makes it a nice choice for this time of year!

1 Large mango (or sub frozen mango, it just wont be as sweet)

3/4 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt

Scant 1/2 cup Thin coconut milk, unsweetened

Tsp fresh grated ginger or a 1/5 tsp ground ginger

Dash lime juice and if desired

tsp lime zest

Scoop vanilla protein powder

Optional, good pinch ground cardamom, ice

blend in blender. Depending on how sweet n thick your protein is, add more lime juice,dash water or yoghurt as needed
